Kids on a Mission
Our children’s mission ministry is called “Kids on a Mission”. Each Wednesday, “Kids on a Mission” completes a mini- mission project to help those locally and afar. The first Wednesday of each month, “Kids on a Mission” completes a larger mission project and presents it to our Lighthouse family members attending The Well. The project is explained to the members and then prayed over by both children and adults.

SAFETY REMINDER:
For the safety of your children I want to remind you of our safety policies:
(There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these rules)
- ALL children must remain with their parents until class drop-off begins. This means before and after class you should be able to see them and be supervising them at all times. No children should be roaming the building or outside, for any reason.
- Class drop-off on Sunday’s does not start until 9:45am. If you are in the 8:40 service or have a class at 8:40, they are to be in the nursery until 9:45. Please pick them up at 9:45 and take them to class.
- On Wednesday’s, we will dismiss the kids from the worship center at 6:30. There will be NO teachers in the classrooms until 6:30. Your kids are to remain with you until we dismiss. If you arrive at 6:30 or later, they can be brought to the classrooms.
- All kids need to be checked-in on the computer. Any child sent to check themselves in, will be taken back to their parents. NO children are allowed to check themselves in.
Please understand, that these rules are meant to keep your children safe. We love your children and want to protect them. Should you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Akers or Bobby Cullen.

| Nursery Notes |
We are equipped with nursery necessities to provide care for your children from birth to 2 years old. However, in order to make the experience comfortable for your child, please bring the following items:
- Diapers or pull-ups
- A spill-proof toddler cup or prepared bottle
- Bib, feeding utensils, and meal (if appropriate time)
- A change of clothing (accidents do happen)
- A favorite toy or nursery-safe item that comforts them
We try our best to encourage potty-trainers to use the toilet, but parents should understand that the nursery setting may distract the child and he/she is likely to have an “accident” occasionally. Please help by having extra clothes handy.
We do not store individual children’s items for future use due to limited space. Please, therefore, bring the above items each time you utilize our nursery services. |
| Safety First |
We want you and your children to feel safe in our care, and so, we would like to assure you that our staff and volunteers:
- Receive training in childcare and CPR
- Are subject to recurring background checks
- Do not work alone with children and
- Are equipped to handle emergency situations
If you have further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. |
We Hope You Understand…
We care about the health of your children, and so, we do not permit entry for children with any of the following symptoms:
- Green discharge from the nose
- Diarrhea
- Fever
We know that you will understand our concern and responsibility for the health of all children in our care.
