New Couples Study

Please Join the Couples in Christ Sunday School Class Room 119a beginning Sundays January 31st, 2010 at 10:00 am as we begin a New Study called A Marriage Built to Last! This six week DVD study will teach us Loving Intentionally and Loving Biblically.

Whether it’s Money, In-Laws, Sex or Arguments I think we would all agree that we want a Healthy Loving Marriage. Unfortunately reality is there are so many real issues that can stand in the way. During this study we will hear 24 couples share real-life stories about their honest questions and struggles as they seek to build a marriage that will last a life time. Two of the couples include Dave and Sharon Ramsey –Author/and Radio/TV Host and Kurt and Brenda Warner –Super Bowl Quarterback!

Also whether you are engaged, newly married, remarried or wanting to improve your relationship, this study provides Biblical and Practical teaching to give you tools to Love Intentionally and Love Biblically!
I hope you will join us and prayerfully consider investing this time into your marriage! Together we can make our marriages and families stronger!

There is a work book for this study. Work books are $10.00 each. Please contact me by phone or email to let me know if you plan to join us and would like to order a work book. I will need to know by January 16th so I can place the order and have them in time for the 31st.

Love for Christ = Smiles! Believing in Marriage, Aimee Reyes, 817-798-2600.

Men’s Fraternity

Join us for our second Men’s Fraternity series, “The Great Adventure”. For those who attended the last series, “The Quest for Authentic Manhood, this time around we’ll have a different format, location, time and focus. For starters we will be meeting at 8:30-9:45AM every Sunday morning, January through May. We’ll break for the summer and start again in the Fall using a different study.

Our lessons learned from our last series was that we need to have better continuity within the groups and that means meeting every week. We also found that week nights are hard for many to attend. Finding a good time for everyone to attend is impossible, so we will try this and see how it works.

The Men’s Fraternity curriculum is only a lead in for the main focus of our meetings, which is the group participation after each presentation. This is a time where we discuss the topic presented and how it applies to our current life situations. The best part for me is just getting to know the men in my group, learning about what is important in their lives and how we as a group can pray and support each other each week.

If you have questions, please contact Bill Still (817-320-4490).
