Health Cabinet News
It’s a new year and one of my goals for 2011 is to resurrect the Health Cabinet. A Health Cabinet is a steering committee for the Faith Community Nurse/Health Ministry at Lighthouse. The mission for the Health Ministry is: To promote health and wholeness of body, mind, and spirit through prayer, counsel, education, referral, and service to all our church family and community. I would like to begin with a brainstorming meeting on January 9th, at 12:45. Lunch will be provided. We will meet in LCA’s Computer Lab. To prepare for the meeting I just ask that you would be in prayer for God’s direction and wisdom for our ministry. If anyone is interested in more details, please see me or call 817-688-3447.

| About Our Parish Nurse |
Cindy Bozarth, Parish Nurse
Cindy was born and raised in Pauls Valley, Ok and received her nursing degree from University of Oklahoma. She has practiced nursing for over 30 years in Ft. Worth hospitals. In 1999, she felt God call her into “ministry.” At the time she wasn’t sure where that would lead her, but through the exploration of God’s call, she became acquainted with Parish Nursing, and felt certain this was the direction God was leading her. She is furthering her education at TCU’s Brite Divinity School by working on a Master’s of Arts in Christian Service degree.
Bob and Cindy have three children, Blake, Paul, and Parker, as well as one granddaughter, Lilly Bozarth.
