Altar Flowers Ministry
Flowers in honor or memory are a great way to dedicate your love before the Lord for someone you hold near and dear to your heart. If you would like to sponsor flowers for worship for any given weekend, please contact Worship Assistant, Kerry Kinney, at 817-237-2758, at least 14 days before you want the flowers to be displayed in worship. Kids In Worship
Kids in Worship (KIW) is an opportunity to experience worship as a family. We believe that the act of worship is a heart condition and can’t be taught; therefore, we need to show our kids how to worship with all that they are. The best way to do this, is to share in the worship experience with them.
We have KIW every 3rd Sunday of the month (excluding December), at the 10:00 and 11:30 services. We have kids participate in different elements of worship, including collecting the offering, leading worship songs, reading scripture. We have worship notebooks for your little ones to help keep them busy. We also have Kids Worship Guides to help your kids of all ages stay engaged in the service and have fun too!

Discovery & Neighborhood Groups
Lighthouse Fellowship offers small group gatherings known as Discovery Groups. Discovery Groups covers a broad area of small groups of our church family, from Adult Sunday School to groups that meet in homes. If you're not in a Discovery Seminar, Sunday Class, or Discovery Group - join one - they make an incredible difference in your spiritual journey.

Incredible Infants Support Group
Lighthouse Fellowship has opened our doors to a support group for mothers of infants ages birth to 12months. Brittany Holland, a nurse educator and lactation specialist, from Harris Methodist is bringing a valuable resource to mothers of infants to our church and community. Each week on Thursday from 11:00am-12:30pm, she leads a playgroup group in the nursery where a variety of topics are covered, guest speakers brought in, or field trips taken. Don’t forget to bring the baby and a brown bag lunch for the two of you. The cost of the 4 meetings/month is $10.00 for the month. Register by calling 1-877-THR-WELL and ask to enroll in the Incredible Infant support/discussion group. Hopefully, in a year this group will yield a new group called Terrific Toddlers! Lighthouse Counseling Center
 If you're experiencing life difficulties of either a personal or relationship nature, we are here to help. Dr. J. Dan Smith, Ph.D., is a licensed counselor and marriage & family therapist with extensive background in substance abuse, men's issues, mood disorders, childhood abuse issues and family problems.

United Methodist Women
 UMW's Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concept of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church. Anyone interested in learning more about the work of UMW is welcome to attend any of our meetings.

The Welcome Team
The “Welcome Team” concept came about in January 2004 as our church family made preparations to vacate our Azle Avenue residence. Our property was sold, and so, the Boswell High School administration allowed us to hold worship services in the school cafeteria until our new facility was completed. The cafeteria’s environment was drab and “cold”. Unable to alter the borrowed space, we opted instead to create the friendliest, warmest atmosphere possible using our best available resource: people. At that point, the Welcome Team was born!
The Welcome Team was such a great success in improving the environment for worship that it has continued to serve at our new facility. The Welcome Team has strengthened the family spirit at Lighthouse Fellowship, and will continue making the church feel like home to all that enter in the future.

Prayer Opportunities
Prayer is a vital ministry of our church. As our prayer ministry increases, Lighthouse will benefit in many ways. Believers will deepen their faith, people will accept Christ for the first time, mission activities will grow and those doing ministry will be more effective. We are very excited about expanding our prayer ministry and we need everyone to make that happen. Take a few moments to pray about how God wants you to become a part of this vital ministry. Recycling
Please join our recycling efforts by dropping off your catalogs, magazines, newspapers, junk mail, office paper, fax paper, school paper, notebooks, and folders from home. No phonebooks or cardboard items please. This effort will also be a fundraiser for the Lighthouse Christian Academy and our church. Help our school while you help the environment.
